Innovation Grants Third Round Grantees

Announcing Next Steps

Innovations Round 3 – ACBHCS Advances efforts to Improve Health Outcomes for the LGBTQI2-S Communities, Isolated Adults and Isolated Older Adults through Innovation Community Based Learning Series

ACBHCS is proud to announce the launching of "Improving Outcomes for the LGBTQI2-S Communities, Isolated Adults and Isolated Older Adults through the Innovation Community Based Learning (CBL) Training Series."

For the third round of INN Grants Cycle, BHCS formulated learning questions and implemented projects to improve the quality of care to Isolated Adults and Isolated Older Adults, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Questioning, Intersex, and Two-Spirit (LGBTQI2-S) clients and consumers, with the intention to produce more positive client/consumer outcomes.

The Community Based Learning Training Series will offer providers and other system partners based in Alameda County the opportunity to receive training and learn more about what is needed to better address the behavioral health needs of Alameda County’s LGBTQI2-S Communities, Isolated Adults and Isolated Older Adults.

BHCS will provide training funds to Round 3 Innovations grantees to train other providers on their final Innovation Program Designs and/or Provider Training Curriculum. We invite you to review the 23 INN Round Three projects that are participating in this phase of our continued learning. (Please note that Lavender Seniors "Safe and Visible" project is a free online only training and not included in the CBL Series).

Please consider the needs of your agency and what you may need to better serve this community. Complete the online application and organizational assessment tool below if you want to partner with us in this important quality improvement effort. You will be asked to participate in a strength based evaluation process and Technical Assistance will be provided to your agency.

Please contact ta@acinnovations.org if you have specific or clarifying questions.
